Make people want to buy your book

If you’re an author who is wants to make their books more visible on Amazon, then you need to Make People WANT To Buy Your Book

Here’s a simple list of tips that so many authors miss out on.

The most important thing is to make your book more visible on Amazon.

This list is important because Amazon is the biggest retailer for books, being visible and looking good will increase your sales!

Tip # 1 – Format Your Book Description
When entering your book into KDP, you can format your book description so it has paragraph breaks and bolded text. You can use any free online HTML formatter to do this. I’m a fan of the one Kindlepreneur created: https://kindlepreneur.com/amazon-book-description-generator/

Tip # 2 – Set Up Your Amazon Author Central – Author Information
Head over to https://authorcentral.Amazon.com/ and set up your Author Central Page. On this page you can add your bio, photos, videos, and links to your blog (including vlogs). Make it easy for people to get to know about you and your books.

Tip # 3 – Upgrade Amazon Author Central – Book Information
While you’re in Author Central, click the “Books” page. On this page you can fix any formatting issues with your book description. You can also combine different versions of your book into a single listing. Amazon usually does this on their own, but occasionally it misses a version.

Tip # 4 – Optimize Amazon Author Central – Editorial Reviews
While you’re checking your book description and combining your books, add some information to the Editorial Review section.
What can you add?
* In the “Review Section” add your endorsements.
* In “From the Author” you can mention other books you have published.
* In the “About the Author” section, add Awards and Recognition.

Tip # 5 – Update Keywords
* When we first publish our books, we pick the best keywords we can think of. But as time goes on, those words may become more or less searchable. Or we may realize that there are words that better represent our book.
* Schedule a periodic review of your books keywords.

Tip # 6 – Update Categories
* Just like keywords can be changed, so can your categories, and as time goes on, you may find categories that are better suited to your book. When you do, ask Amazon to update them. You want the right people to find your book, categories will help.

What should you do now? Review your book listing on Amazon!
