The Free The Dream Conference was more amazing than I could have imagined. Last week I attended Free the Dream in Franklin, TN. It’s a new conference hosted by Cliff Ravenscraft. Here were some of the great things about the conference:

Travel

I’ve never been to Nashville or Franklin, TN so I got to see enough of both to want to go back to both. The Country Music Hall of Fame, Andrew Jackson’s House. I was a little freaked out by the Ghost tour in Franklin. But it was fun getting to know a new place. I’ll never refuse an opportunity to explore a new place.

Amazing Attendees

The attendee group was on the smaller side compared to some other conferences I’ve attended. That allowed me to connect with almost everyone at the conference.  I also did the VIP ticket, so I was forced (in a good way) to meet many more attendees and speakers.

Amazing Speakers

When Dan Miller came on stage to talk about holding on to your dreams, I knew it would be a great conference. He set a tone for the conference (Ok, Cliff did before that, but the way the other speakers were integrated brought it to a new level) and it kept improving from there.

Who knew I could be so fascinated by a family making goat milk products? Well, now I have goat milk soap in my shower! A George W Bush impersonator talking about fear – it conference was an alternate reality. But the tears started with Ray Edwards talking about Permission to Prosper and I already had permission! Jevonnah I think had us all in tears, I couldn’t confirm through my own tears. But Ken Davis opened a whole new world of thought for me.

Opening Doors

You know all those quotes about doors and windows closing and another one opening. Yeah, Ken Davis made us live that and let me tell you, doors have been closing and opening in weird ways since.

Real Live People I Could Touch (in a hug goodbye way at the end of the conference)

I talk with a lot of people online, many I consider good friends. But there’s something about being with people and talking about your dreams and next steps that makes them come alive.

Next steps?

I’ll be back at Free the Dream next year! Will you be there with me?

You are awesome!
